The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Weber Bahia (7-2) in Almagra on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked San Lorenzo (5-2) 72-59. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. American center Jerome Meyinsse (207-88, college: Virginia, agency: Stealth Sport) stepped up and scored 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Santiago Scala (186-91) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was international guard Lucio Redivo (183-94) with 23 points and 7 rebounds and international Juan Pablo Vaulet (198-96) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Weber Bahia's coach Sebastian Ginobili rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place in Sur. Weber Bahia at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. San Lorenzo are looking forward to face league's second-placed GECR Indalo in Comodoro R. in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Weber Bahia will play on the road against Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires and is hoping to win this game.
