Regular Season Round 4: JuveCaserta - The Flexx PT 74-65

There was no surprise in Caserta where 11th ranked The Flexx PT (1-3) was defeated by fifth ranked Juvecaserta (3-1) 74-65 on Monday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-13. But The Flexx PT won third quarter 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely The Flexx PT outrebounded Juvecaserta 49-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican-American point guard Edgar Sosa (190-88, college: Louisville) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and American forward Mitchell Watt (208-89, college: Buffalo) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Juvecaserta's coach Sandro Dell Agnello used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American center Nathan Boothe (206-94, college: Toledo) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Juvecaserta moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. The Flexx PT at the other side keeps the eleventh position with three games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Juvecaserta will meet league's leader Armani Milano on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. The Flexx PT will play against Openjobmetis VA (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
