Important game to mention about took place in Ramat Gan. Hap.R/G Givat. (2-1) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging Ironi Ramat Gan (1-2) 77-75 on Monday evening. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 27-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Yaniv Solomon (196-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points. American guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) helped adding 11 points and 13 rebounds. Four Hap.R/G Givat. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican forward Ivan Aska (201-90, college: Murray St., agency: Comsport) with 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and American guard Vernon Teel (193-87, college: Loyola Mary) scored 8 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Hap.R/G Givat. will face Hapoel Kfar Saba at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ironi Ramat Gan will play against Maccabi Raanana (#2) and hope to win that game.
