Regular Season Round 3: Teodo Tivat - Kozuv 85-79

The game between FYR Macedonia Kozuv (1-2) and Montenegrin Teodo Tivat (1-1) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Kozuv was defeated by Teodo Tivat in a tough game in Tivat 79-85. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-16. But Kozuv won second period 22-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Milos Djurisic (194-88) who scored 20 points and 6 assists. Serbian Stefan Sajin (205-93) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Teodo Tivat players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Kenyon McNeaill (185-91, college: Louisiana Tech) who recorded 19 points and 7 assists and Serbian Milivoje Mijovic (200-91) added 18 points respectively. Kozuv's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Teodo Tivat are looking forward to face Beroe in Stara Zagora in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kozuv will play on the road against Kumanovo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
