Regular Season Round 6: Zubry - Tur Bielsk Pdl. 72-76

The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s (3-3) road victory over 10th ranked Zubry (1-4) 76-72 on Wednesday. Forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Sylwester Kus (186-90) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s coach Kamil Zakrzewski used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Andrzej Misiewicz (199-84, college: Daytona St. CC) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) scored 17 points. Five Zubry players scored in double figures. Tur Bielsk Pdl. moved-up to eighth place in Group B, which they share with Shmoolky W-wa. Newly promoted Zubry keeps the tenth position with four games lost. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will face Shmoolky W-wa (#8) in Warszawa in the next round. Zubry will play on the road against Start Lublin II and hope to win that game.
