Regular Season Round 6: Przemysl - R8 Basket Krk. 71-77

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Przemysl (3-3) was defeated at home by top-ranked AZS PK (6-0) 77-71 on Wednesday. AZS PK looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international center Michal Hlebowicki (204-76) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) chipped in 11 points and 17 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Artur Mikolajko (197-79) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and Grzegorz Plocica (190-80) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four AZS PK and five Przemysl players scored in double figures. Przemysl's coach Maciej Milan tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. AZS PK have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted AZS PK maintains first position in Group C with 6-0 record. Loser Przemysl dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. AZS PK will face Polonia Bytom (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
