The game in Ancud was also quite interesting. 4th placed CD Castro (5-6) played at the court of sixth ranked AB Ancud (4-7). AB Ancud did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 89-70 on Wednesday. American forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Venezuela swingman Francisco Centeno (201-85) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American forward Tyrone Lee (204-90, college: Grand Valley St.) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import forward Terrance Thomas (198-80, college: Baylor, agency: Interperformances) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four CD Castro players scored in double figures. Despite that victory AB Ancud went down to eighth position due to points difference. Loser CD Castro dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. AB Ancud will face higher ranked Espanol de Talca (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
