Regular Season Round 6: Nassjo - BC Lulea 61-70

Basketligan top team - BC Lulea (4-1) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat seventh ranked Nassjo (2-4) 70-61. The guests trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 34-15 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BC Lulea dominated on the defensive end, holding Nassjo to just 5 points in third quarter. It was a good game for Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American Auston Barnes (203-91, college: Bradley) replied with 11 points and his fellow American import center Dartaye Ruffin (205-91, college: Drexel, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Nassjo. BC Lulea maintains first position with 4-1 record, which they share with Sodertalje. Nassjo lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with four games lost. BC Lulea is looking forward to face Uppsala Basket (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Nassjo will play against Boras Basket (#4) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
