There was a small surprise when sixteenth ranked Hyeres-Toulon (2-4) beat at home 14th ranked Le Mans (2-4) 76-60 on Friday. American swingman Ryan Evans (203-90, college: Wisconsin) scored 18 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Ferdinand Prenom (203-91) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Hyeres-Toulon's coach Kyle Milling used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was the former international Wilfried Yeguete (201-91, college: Florida, agency: BeoBasket) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Giordan Watson (178-85, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: BeoBasket) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Hyeres-Toulon moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Le Mans. Le Mans lost third consecutive game. Hyeres-Toulon will face Entente Orleans 45 (#14) on the road in the next round.
