An interesting game for Berazategui (4-2) which played road game in Lanus against 3rd ranked Lanus (2-2). Second ranked Berazategui managed to get a 4-point victory 67-63. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 23-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Lanus helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Noelia Zinna (172-88) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 rebounds. Cuba center Marlenis Cepeda (193-85) contributed with 8 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Forward Florencia Llorente (180-94) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and international power forward Agostina Burani (184-91) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Lanus. Lanus' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Berazategui maintains second position with 4-2 record having just two points less than leader Estrella Berisso. Lanus at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Berazategui are looking forward to face Union Florida (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lanus will play against the league's leader Estrella Berisso and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
