Regular Season Round 7: Start Lublin II - Zubry 59-58

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Start Lublin II (1-5) edged at home 10th ranked Zubry (1-5) 59-58 on Saturday. Zubry was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 26-22 charge of Start Lublin II, which allowed them to win the game. Start Lublin II had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Bartosz Ciechocinski (203-91) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Center Jaroslaw Trojan (207-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Andrzej Misiewicz (199-84, college: Daytona St. CC) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Start Lublin II left bottom position moving up to eleventh place in Group B, which they share with defeated Zubry. It was Zubry's third loss in a row. Start Lublin II will face higher ranked Shmoolky W-wa (#9) in Warszawa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
