Not a big story in a game in Stargard where 8th ranked Notec Inowr. (3-4) was defeated by leader Spojnia (7-0) 102-97 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Spojnia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Damian Janiak (195-89, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Marcin Dymala (188-90) helped adding 14 points and 12 assists. At the losing side Marcin Kowalewski (200-86, agency: Promotex) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and Dawid Adamczewski (190-91) scored 22 points and 5 steals. Five Spojnia and four Notec Inowr. players scored in double figures. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Spojnia. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Sokol Lancut. Loser Notec Inowr. dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. Spojnia will face SKK Siedlce (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Notec Inowr. will play against Kotwica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
