Regular Season Round 7: Syntex Ksiezak - Rosa III Radom 87-74

No shocking result in a game in Lowicz where third ranked Syntex Ksiezak (6-1) defeated bottom-ranked Rosa III Radom (0-7) 87-74 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Syntex Ksiezak. Rosa III Radom was better in third quarter 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Syntex Ksiezak forced 23 Rosa III Radom turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Forward Mariusz Wojcik (200-79) fired 8 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Point guard Hubert Makuch (180-85) chipped in 9 points and 9 assists. Forward Szymon Szymanski (205-96) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and Mateusz Zweglinski (194-94) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Rosa III Radom players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Syntex Ksiezak moved-up to second place in Group B. Rosa III Radom lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Syntex Ksiezak will face Stal SW (#5) in Stalowa Wola in the next round. Rosa III Radom will play at home against AZS PS Kielce (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
