Important game to mention about took place in Gliwice. Fourth ranked GTK Gliwice (5-2) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 9th ranked GKS Tychy (3-4) 62-59 on Saturday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of GKS Tychy. It was a great evening for swingman Kacper Radwanski (189-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Pawel Zmarlak (195-82, agency: Promotex) helped adding 11 points and 9 rebounds. GTK Gliwice's coach Pawel Turkiewicz used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side the former international power forward Wojciech Barycz (208-84, agency: Interperformances) responded with 12 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Tomasz Deja (200-83) scored 16 points. GTK Gliwice moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser GKS Tychy keeps the ninth position with four games lost. GTK Gliwice will face Nysa Klodzko (#15) in Kloszko in the next round which should be an easy win for them. GKS Tychy will play on the road against Polonia Leszno (#6) and hope to win that game.
