Regular Season Round 4: Holargos - Aiolos Astakou 74-58

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Holargos (1-3) won against at home higher ranked Aiolos Astakou (2-2) 74-58 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Holargos. Aiolos Astakou was better in third quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Holargos looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Quite impressive performance for center Apostolos Koutroulias (206-76) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds. Spyridon Motsenigos (194-92) contributed with 19 points for the winners. The former international power forward Tasos Charismidis (203-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Nikos Kaklamanos (189-81) added 19 points in the effort for Aiolos Astakou. Aiolos Astakou's coach Michael Koutalianos rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Holargos left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Newly promoted Aiolos Astakou dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. Holargos will face higher ranked Faros (#6) in Keratsiniou in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
