There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Almassera (0-4) was defeated on the road by top-ranked UCAM Murcia II (4-0) 57-46 on Saturday. Almassera was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Almassera 48-31 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Jose Ortega (188-97) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. Center Sergio Mendiola (207-96) chipped in 8 points and 15 rebounds.
