Very important is a road loss of third ranked AZS UMK Torun (4-2) against ninth ranked Domino Inowr. (3-3) on Saturday night. Visiting AZS UMK Torun was defeated by Domino Inowr. in a tough game in Inowroclaw 67-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of AZS UMK Torun. Domino Inowr. made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded AZS UMK Torun 47-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. Point guard Michal Warchowski (187-94) fired 17 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Marcin Majer (199-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Zbigniew Malinowski (188-84) produced 9 points and 10 rebounds and Radoslaw Plebanek (190-85) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. AZS UMK Torun's coach Tomasz Lipinski tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Domino Inowr. moved-up to seventh place in Group A, which they share with Goleniow and Tarnovia. Loser AZS UMK Torun dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Domino Inowr. will face higher ranked AZS PGd (#3) in Gdansk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
