1Liga top team - Sokol Lancut (7-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat twelfth ranked Astoria Bydg. (1-6) 84-69. The game was mostly controlled by Sokol Lancut. Astoria Bydg. was better in second period 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sokol Lancut forced 21 Astoria Bydg. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Marcin Sroka (201-81, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. Power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) contributed with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Power forward Sebastian Laydych (203-87) answered with 10 points and swingman Mikolaj Motel (192-94) added 13 points in the effort for Astoria Bydg.Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
