Regular Season Round 7: Lobas - Eskilstuna 68-82

Not a big story in a game in Lomma where 10th ranked Lobas (1-5) were defeated by fourth ranked Eskilstuna (4-1) 82-68 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Eskilstuna. Lobas was better in fourth quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lobas 48-30 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Hannes Widell (183-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Pontus Lennartsson (198-93) helped adding 13 points and 18 rebounds. At the losing side Martin Nilsson (-92) responded with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Kasper Hagberg (185-98) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Lobas players scored in double figures. Lobas' coach tested ten players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Eskilstuna. They moved-up to third place. Loser Lobas dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
