Everything went according to plan in Valladolid where fourth ranked Moron (4-1) outleveled 10th ranked Blancos de Rueda (2-3) 72-53. The game without a history. Moron led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American guard Tyler Gaffaney (193-92, college: Claremont-Mudd) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Croatia forward Leo Cizmic (206-98, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Gaffaney is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Center Sergio De La Fuente (198-89) answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds and British forward Rowell Graham (197-94) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Blancos de Rueda. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Moron have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Blancos de Rueda at the other side dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. They share the position with L'Hospitalet and Albacete. Moron will play against Meridiano Alicante (#4) at home in the next round. Blancos de Rueda will play against Gandia (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
