The most important game in the last round took place in Aalstar between second ranked Okapi Aalstar (4-2) and seventh ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (3-3) on Saturday night. Okapi Aalstar was defeated by Belfius Mons-Hainaut in a tough game at home 89-93. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Okapi Aalstar. The best player for the winners was swingman Idris Lasisi (188-88, college: Whitworth) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Tre Demps (188-93, college: Northwestern) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Samoa-American power forward John Tofi (203-84, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) who recorded 18 points and American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) added 19 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Belfius Mons-Hainaut moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Oostende and Leuven. Okapi Aalstar at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Belfius Mons-Hainaut is looking forward to face Liege Basket (#9) in Liege in the next round where they are favorite. Okapi Aalstar will play on the road against Oostende (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
