Date: October 29, 2016
ProA top team - Monaco (6-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (2-4) 79-71. It was a good game for American center Brandon Davies (208-91, college: BYU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. American-Bulgaria point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Monaco's coach Zvezdan Mitrovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import guard Kyle Gibson (196-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: BeoBasket) added 20 points in the effort for Gravelines-Dunkerque. Monaco's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Sluc Nancy (#18) on the road which should be an easy win for them. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Strasbourg IG (#15) and hope to win that game.
