Regular Season Round 3: Boulogne - Evreux 81-86

Rather expected game in Boulogne-sur-Mer where SO Maritime Boulogne (0-3) was defeated by ALM Evreux (2-1) 86-81 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SO Maritime Boulogne won third quarter 24-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Latvia center Ricmonds Vilde (211-90, college: Houston Baptist) helped adding 12 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Cuba power forward Grismay Paumier (204-88) with 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and Dutch Worthy de Jong (194-88) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ALM Evreux will face Charleville-Mezieres (#6) at home in the next round. SO Maritime Boulogne will play against Provence Basket (#1) in Fos-sur-Mer and hopes to get finally their first victory.
