Regular Season Round 4: Stabia - Bologna 55-60

Undefeated leader Bologna delivered the fourth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 11th ranked Castellammare (1-3) 60-55 in Stabia. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 18-8. But Castellammare won second period 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bologna forced 20 Castellammare turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Chiara Cadoni (182-94) who helped to win the game recording 6 points and 12 rebounds and the former international point guard Raelin D'Alie (168-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) who added 13 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Maria Gallo (168-92) responded with 13 points and point guard Raffaella Potolicchio (169-90) scored 15 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bologna maintains first position in A2 with 4-0 record. Loser Castellammare keeps the eleventh place with three games lost. Bologna will meet at home Alpo VF (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Castellammare will play against the league's second-placed Marghera in Venezia and hope to win that game.
