And finally the game worth to mention about is the one where second ranked Meridiano Baza (3-1) edged by one point one of their biggest challengers Cazorla (2-2) 79-78 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in Group D-A. The best player for the winners was center Javier Mesa (206-77) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Point guard David Garcia (180-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Meridiano Baza's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard K.J. Bluford (185, college: E.Kentucky) who recorded 30 points and his fellow American import point guard LeShaun Murphy (183, college: Auburn-Montgomery) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Meridiano Baza keeps a position of Group D-A leader, which they share with CAM E.Soler. Loser Cazorla keeps the third place with two games lost.
