Bottom-ranked Malbas is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to third ranked Sodertalje Kings (4-1) 74-52. The game without a history. Sodertalje Kings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. International center Nicholas Spires (210-94) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Croatia forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) chipped in 14 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) with 15 points and American center Jake Zuilhof (206-93, college: Cent.Arkansas) scored 6 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sodertalje Kings have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with BC Lulea. Malbas at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Sodertalje Kings will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Malbas will play on the road against Norrkoping Dolphins (#6) in Norrkoping and hope to get finally their first victory.
