Very important is a road loss of second ranked JSF Nanterre (4-2) against twelfth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (3-3) on Saturday night. Visiting JSF Nanterre was defeated by Limoges CSP Elite in a tough game in Limoges 64-70. It looked good early as JSF Nanterre took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Limoges CSP Elite had a 24-17 second period charge getting the lead and JSF Nanterre was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-70. Limoges CSP Elite forced 23 JSF Nanterre turnovers. The former international center Ousmane Camara (202-89) notched 15 points to lead the effort and American forward C.J. Fair (203-91, college: Syracuse) supported him with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Even 8 points and 11 rebounds by American Mykal Riley (198-85, college: Alabama) did not help to save the game for JSF Nanterre. German point guard Heiko Schaffartzik (183-84) added 15 points and 4 assists. Limoges CSP Elite moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 5 other teams. JSF Nanterre at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Paris-Levallois and Chalon. Limoges CSP Elite will play against Chalons-Reims (#6) at home in the next round. JSF Nanterre will play against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
