Regular Season Round 4: Rosa Radom - Siarka 68-64

Bottom-ranked Stabill (0-4) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to tenth ranked Rosa (3-2) 68-64. It looked good early as Stabill took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Rosa took control winning next two quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 4 points. They made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Stabill helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Darnell Jackson (206-85, college: Kansas) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Rosa's coach Wojciech Kaminski allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Brandon Brown (180-89, college: Montana-West) replied with 17 points and 7 assists and power forward Tomasz Wojdyla (201-77) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Stabill. Rosa moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Stabill at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Rosa's next round opponent will be Polpharma (#9) in Starogard where they are favorite. Stabill will play at home against the league's leader Twarde Pierniki (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
