Rather expected game in Saporro where 5th ranked Hokkaido L. (4-8) was defeated by third ranked Sendai 89ers (6-6) 72-61 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-61. Sendai 89ers outrebounded Hokkaido L. 40-29 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds.
