An interesting game for Dragonflies (10-2) which hosted in Hiroshima 4th ranked Orange Vikings (4-8). First ranked Dragonflies had an easy win 99-59. The game without a history. Dragonflies led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Dragonflies forced 19 Orange Vikings turnovers. It was a good game for Australia-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory with 18 points. Guard Seiji Ikaruga (185-94) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Five Dragonflies players scored in double figures. French forward Remi Barry (203-91, college: N.Mexico St.) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Toshino Tatsuhiko (185-88) added 11 points in the effort for Orange Vikings. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record, which they share with Nishinomiya S. and Kumamoto V. Orange Vikings lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with eight games lost. Dragonflies will face Kagawa FA (#5) in Takamatsu in the next round. Orange Vikings will play at home against Shimane Magic and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
