Regular Season Round 10: Yamanashi QB - Chanson V-M 55-94

Bottom-ranked Yamanashi QB (0-8) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to fourth ranked Chanson V-M (6-2) 94-55 on Sunday evening. The game without a history. Chanson V-M led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Chanson V-M forced 19 Yamanashi QB turnovers and outrebounded them 54-41 including 24 on the offensive glass. International center Rika Tanimura (184-93) fired 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Chikae Uchino (176-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Five Chanson V-M players scored in double figures. Guard Miki Huzii (165-87) produced 22 points and forward Misa Yokoi (170-88) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chanson V-M maintains fourth position with 6-2 record, which they share with Fujitsu RW. Newly promoted Yamanashi QB still closes the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Niigata R. and Aishin AW. Chanson V-M will meet at home Hitachi Cougars (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Yamanashi QB will have a break next round.
