The most exciting game of round 5 in the B League D3 took place in Saitama. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th ranked Saitama Broncos (1-9) to fourth ranked Otsuka A. (4-6) 91-88 in the game for the fourth place. Four Otsuka A. and five Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. Otsuka A. maintains fourth place with 4-6 record. Saitama Broncos at the other side keep the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Tokyo Cinq R.. Otsuka A. are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Toyoda Gosei (#9) in Aichi in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Saitama Broncos will play on the road against the league's leader Fukuoka Rizing (#1) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
