An interesting game for Toyotsu FE (11-1) which hosted in Nagoya 3rd ranked Tokyo Z (4-8). First ranked Toyotsu FE managed to get a 7-point victory 74-67. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-11. But Tokyo Z won second period 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Toyotsu FE won last quarter 24-18. The winners were led by American power forward Lamar Sanders (198-84, college: Lamar, agency: SDJ Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and guard Satoshi Kawai (182-82) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Even 27 points by point guard Shota Watanabe (180-93) did not help to save the game for Tokyo Z. American power forward Zachary Andrews (203-85, college: Bradley) added 8 points and 17 rebounds.
