Regular Season Round 12: Bambitious Nara - Shinshu BW 61-74

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Shinshu BW (4-8) beat on the road one of their biggest challengers Bambitious Nara (4-8) 74-61 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 45-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Shinshu BW made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game, while Bambitious Nara only scored twelve points from the stripe. Bambitious Nara was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated also this game. It was a good game for forward Terrance Shannon (203-90, college: VCU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Power forward Jamal Boykin (203-87, college: California) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Ruben Boykin (201-85, college: N.Arizona) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds and forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bambitious Nara. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shinshu BW moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Bambitious Nara. Bambitious Nara lost fourth consecutive game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
