Very predictable result in Madrid where sixth ranked FC Barcelona (4-1) edged 15th ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (1-5) 78-75 on Sunday. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Greek Stratos Perperoglou (203-84) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Cypriot-Bulgaria Alexander Vezenkov (206-95) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five FC Barcelona players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized Senegalese center Moussa Diagne (210-94, agency: Interperformances) with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian Ivan Paunic (198-87, agency: BeoBasket) scored 18 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. FC Barcelona moved-up to third place, which they share with Valencia. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada lost fourth consecutive game.
