There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Crema (2-3) defeated on the road higher ranked Sestu (1-3) 71-59 on Sunday. They outrebounded Sestu 32-18 including 27 on the defensive glass. Center Davide Bozzetto (207-89, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory by scoring 8 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Daniele Manuelli (192-94) contributed with 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Swingman Romeo Trionfo (197-85, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 16 points and 4 assists and guard Nicola Elia (185-76) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sestu. Crema moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Sestu dropped to the fourteenth position with three games lost. Crema will face league's leader Faenza at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sestu will play against Desio (#8) and hope to win that game.
