Regular Season Round 5: Cefalu - Roma Luiss 89-76

There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Cefalu (1-3) won against at home 3rd placed Roma Luiss (3-2) 89-76 on Sunday. Cefalu looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Roma Luiss' players. Forward Marco Mollura (196-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Riccardo Malagoli (209-88) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Francesco Ramenghi (209-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Francesco Faragalli Serroni (176-95) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Roma Luiss. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cefalu left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place in B, which they share with Sestu. Loser Roma Luiss dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Cefalu will face league's leader Napoli Cuore on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Roma Luiss will play against Scauri and hope to win that game.
