Regular Season Round 6: Persbraten - Tromso 63-89

Bottom-ranked Persbraten (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to eighth ranked Tromso (2-5) 89-63 on Sunday evening. The game without a history. Tromso led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Persbraten turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Hani Issalhi (191-84) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Johannes Lange (175-98) chipped in 15 points. Four Tromso players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuania forward Marius Puzaras (194-83) who recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds and forward Christian Bakken (198-88) added 11 points and 4 steals respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tromso maintains eighth position with 2-5 record. Newly promoted Persbraten still closes the standings with five games lost. Tromso will meet at home higher ranked Gimle BBK (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Persbraten's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Ammerud Bskt.
