Regular Season Round 3: Kaspiy Aktau - Barsy Atyrau 82-89

Barsy Atyrau (2-2) managed to get a 7-point victory 89-82 against Kaspiy Aktau (0-4). Kaspiy Aktau was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American point guard Trevin Parks (180-91, college: Johnson C. Smith) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. International forward Pavel Micheev (201-83) helped adding 17 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Azim Yagodkin (185-92) with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international forward Vitaliy Lapchenko (207-92) scored 17 points. Kaspiy Aktau's coach Renato Martinez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Barsy Atyrau will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kaspiy Aktau will play at home against Astana and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
