Rather predictable result when top-ranked Vicenza (3-0) outscored at home 7th ranked Palermo (1-2) 87-23 on Sunday. The game without a history. Vicenza led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Palermo to just 2 points in third quarter and to 9 points in second half. Vicenza held Palermo to an opponent 20.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 53.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Vicenza forced 28 Palermo turnovers and outrebounded them 36-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 1 passes made by Palermo's players. Slovenia forward Tina Jakovina (183-92) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
