Regular Season Round 6: Dijon - Nancy 74-69
Date: October 31, 2016
Very expected game when 18th ranked Sluc Nancy (1-5) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked JDA Dijon (3-3) 74-69 on Monday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 45-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St.) scored 15 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) chipped in 13 points and 4 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Dario Hunt (206-89, college: Nevada) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and Nigeria-American swingman Ebi Ere (195-81, college: Oklahoma, agency: Two Points) scored 16 points. JDA Dijon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Sluc Nancy stay at the bottom position with five games lost. JDA Dijon will face Olympique Antibes (#7) on the road in the next round. Sluc Nancy will play against the league's leader Monaco (#1) and hope to win that game.
