Regular Season Round 5: Triglav - Play Off 41-46

An interesting game for Bosnian Play Off (2-1) which played road game in Kranj against second-ranked Slovenia Triglav (3-2). Third ranked Play Off managed to get a 5-point victory 46-41. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Triglav. Triglav was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 16-9 third quarter run of Play Off. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Triglav to just 5 points in first quarter. They held Triglav to an opponent 21.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 30.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Play Off forced 22 Triglav turnovers. Nikolina Delic (184-96, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 8 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners and center Nikolina Dzebo (186-95) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Maja Jakobcic (184-97) responded with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Manca Jelenc (175-96) scored 7 points and 5 assists. Triglav's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Bosnian champion maintains third place in A with 2-1 record having just three points less than leader Beroe. Triglav at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Play Off will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Triglav will play at home against ZKK Kraljevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
