Regular Season Round 13: Hiroshima D. - Kagawa FA 84-59

B League D2 top team - Dragonflies (12-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Kagawa FA (3-11) in Hiroshima 84-59. The game was mostly controlled by Dragonflies. Kagawa FA was better in third quarter 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kagawa FA to just 7 points in second quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Cameron Ridley (206-93, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Australia-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and Vincentian power forward Nyika Williams (203-87, college: Pacific) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kagawa FA. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Dragonflies. They maintain first place with 12-2 record. Kagawa FA at the other side keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
