The game between Top Four teams took place in Luxembourg. Second ranked host Contern (5-1) smashed one of their biggest challengers Sparta (4-2) 102-66. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Contern made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Sparta turnovers. The best for the losing side was American forward Gary Johnson (198-91, college: Albany) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds and the former international Dean Gindt (201-91) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Contern keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Amicale. Sparta at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Etzella and Musel Pikes. Contern is looking forward to face league's leader Amicale in Steinsel in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sparta will play on the road against Musel Pikes in Stadrbredimus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
