An interesting game was also tough home defeat of 7th ranked Santfeliuenc in a game in Sant Feliu versus Cornella (#6) 81-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santfeliuenc. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 30-23 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Bernat Alvarez (176-95) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 4 assists. Swingman Adrian Martinez (191-96) accounted for 11 points for the winning side. Cornella's coach Marc Solanes used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Jeremy Martin (185-98) came up with 15 points and Senegalese center Mouhamadou Diop (212-87) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Santfeliuenc in the defeat. Four Cornella and five Santfeliuenc players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Cornella. They moved-up to third place in Group C-A, which they share with Barna. Loser Santfeliuenc dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with Castellbisbal. Cornella will meet at home Sant Nicolau (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Santfeliuenc will play against JAC Sants (#13) in Barcelona and hope to secure a win.
