Regular Season Round 6: Cambados - L'Hospitalet 97-71

LEB Silver top team - Cambados (5-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked L'Hospitalet (2-4) 97-71. It looked good early as L'Hospitalet took a 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Cambados had a 26-18 second period charge getting the lead and L'Hospitalet was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-97. Cambados made 28-of-33 charity shots (84.8 percent) during the game, while L'Hospitalet only scored ten points from the stripe. Cambados forced 21 L'Hospitalet turnovers. L'Hospitalet was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Erik Quintela (184-91) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Congolese forward Charles Nkaloulou (199-94) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Edgar San Epifanio (196-87) with 13 points and 5 rebounds and guard Gabriel Diaz-Morera (196-89) scored 13 points. L'Hospitalet's coach Jorge Tarragona gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Cambados maintains first position with 5-1 record, which they share with 3 other teams. L'Hospitalet lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth place with four games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Cambados will play against CB Granada (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
