No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Kouvottaret (5-3) defeated at home 6th ranked Aanekosken (3-5) 70-56 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 40-19 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Kouvottaret dominated on the defensive end, holding Aanekosken to just 7 points in fourth quarter. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-93, college: Charleston) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Whitney Frazier (180-92, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Merit Management Group) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds.
