Valencia's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Olimpico 64 (0-6) 60-51. Olimpico 64 was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was M'Angeles Munoz (-88) who scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Esther Diaz chipped in 11 points. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Katia Javier (182-93) who recorded 14 points and 8 rebounds and the former international power forward Irene Herradas (186-78) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Valencia (1-5) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place in Group B. It was Olimpico 64's sixth loss in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Valencia's next round opponent will be higher ranked Promete (#9) and it may be quite challenging game. Olimpico 64 will play against Picken Claret (#11) in Valencia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
