There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Spirou Charleroi (3-4) beat on the road 5th ranked Leuven Bears (3-4) 95-88. Spirou Charleroi forced 20 Leuven Bears turnovers. American guard D.J. Richardson (190-91, college: Illinois, agency: Inception Sports) fired 26 points for the winners. His fellow American import forward Brandon Bowman (206-84, college: Georgetown) chipped in 24 points and 4 steals. Spirou Charleroi's coach Fulvio Bastianini allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (190-94, college: Wake Forest) produced 23 points and 7 assists and Egyptian-American center Omar Samhan (211-88, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 22 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Spirou Charleroi and four Leuven Bears players scored in double figures. Spirou Charleroi moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Leuven. Leuven Bears lost their third game in a row.
