Regular Season Round 14: Iwate Big Bulls - Cyberdyne IR 65-81

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Iwate Big Bulls (1-12) were defeated at home by third ranked Cyberdyne IR (8-5) 81-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Cyberdyne IR. Iwate Big Bulls was better in third quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Iwate Big Bulls were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Logan Stutz (205-88, college: Washburn) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. British power forward Dzaflo Larkai (203-81, college: Bellarmine, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 6 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Makoto Sawaguchi (184-91) produced 11 points and 4 assists and point guard Koji Nagata (180-81) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cyberdyne IR have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Iwate Big Bulls lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. Cyberdyne IR will have a break next round. Iwate Big Bulls will play again at home against the league's second-placed Cyberdyne IR (#2) and hope to win that game.
